I grew up thinking

Water was a clean friend

But in the end

I realized I had been sinking

Into a lie

There isn’t anything clean

Not even in the sky

 

Water, my dirty friend

I can not believe

Our love must end

You’ve been rolling around with lead, ammonia,  fluoride, chloramine, mercury, copper, dioxins, nitrates, pcbs, THMs, perchlorate, arsenic, selenium, uranium, aluminium, chromium, cadmium, chlorine,

When I thought you were pristine

And now, I can’t even enjoy my shower

I get so dry, and itchy

Makes me burp

And now I must play my paaaartttt

Until you entered the mean machine

Transforming oxygen into bling bling

Now the minerals went all crazy

When I asked around about you

I realized I had been such a fool

Thinking I could trust you

And our refreshing affairs

To only discover the truth
